Dio Fili Estate was created in 2007 when the couple Georgia and Giannis Polyzos began to collaborate with Yiannis Boutaris.
Their main aim was to revive and improve the historic vineyard of Siatista, where the traditional sun-cured wine is produced. The privately-owned vineyards cover an area of 10 hectares. They were established in the hills around the town, at an altitude of 700 metres, with rocky soil and an ideal microclimate. The varieties cultivated are Xinomavro, Moschomavro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer.
The architecture of the new winery, located inside the town, is reminiscent of a Siatistan mansion. With a capacity of 60,000 bottles, the winery is perfectly equipped, enabling the use of modern wine-making techniques. It also has a wine tasting room for visitors.
They produce 7 labels and export on a small scale.
